EDITOR

I’m Julie Knight and I’m the founder and editor of Lash~Ed, your Lash Education magazine with a difference. I wanted to offer something truly educational, unique, fun and inspiring that was genuinely content rich. I’m passionate about working with like-minded people and businesses to strengthen our industry. I have an extensive and exclusive background in lashing as I’m still a sought after working lash stylist having performed over 14,000 treatments and a trainer since 2012. I’m the founder and CEO of Eye by i and Elite Eyelash Extensions, companies exclusively dedicated to lashes that’s now expanding into online product ranges. I continually train and network with some of the best in the world to keep up with this fast paced industry and proudly listed as an Expert Lasher. I’ve placed in competitions and now enjoy judging them. I’m the MD and co-organiser of World Lash University offering affordable yet glamourous educational day conferences with its evening gala celebrating our competition and lash business award winners.

I adore helping lash stylists and others to achieve their potential. I’ve written many lash and business related articles that have been published and have written many books that are soon to be. I’ve featured on Lash Boss Radio and been a guest speaker for a number of Women’s Development Programmes and facilitated a number of work/life balance and coaching workshops. I’m also a menopause champion and the founder of Behind the Mask, a campaign that offers free online training to UK hair and beauty professionals so they are better able to spot the signs of domestic abuse and how they could help.

I hope your Lash-Ed magazine inspires you to be the best that you can be. I work to ensure that it meets your needs and delivers the mission and vision of Lash~Ed.

This is to inspire lifelong learning, improve knowledge, and strengthen our industry by working together with our precious readers and experts who contribute to its success.
